A few months ago, S.V. Arago celebrated its Dies Natalis on November 30th, featuring a Dies lecture by Roger Jaspers and Tristan du Pree. Following this lecture, the board announced the winner of the ‘mevrouw De Winter’-prize! This year, it’s Sissi de Beer who won the prize.

Sissi de Beer is the program director of Applied Physics, where she tries her best to improve the quality of education for the AP-students. She has always been determined to support her students in their endevours, also with her promovendi.

She is also involved with the study association, as she often makes an appearance during activities such as the parents day, the sailing weekend and much more. Here, she shows that she cares alot about the wellbeing of the students.

All of this combined makes that Sissi has made significant contributions to S.V. Arago and therefore more than deserves the ‘mevrouw De Winter’-prize.
