You can register with Study Association Arago by emailing email@example.com or by addressing a board member in the Arago Room (AK). The benefits of Arago membership include a discount on study books and free tea and coffee in the AK.
The membership fee is collected at the bemailto:firstname.lastname@example.org of the academic year (August 1) by direct debit. The authorization for this can be signed when registering. Information and other matters regarding the contribution can be found in the contribution regulations.
In addition to authorization for the contribution, a separate authorization for direct debit of the internal balance must be signed. As the name suggests, the internal balance is a frequently used personal balance within Arago. The internal balance is, for example, used for participant fees, printing, postal, merchandise and catering costs. This balance is collected periodically, and authorization is required to carry out this direct debit.
Termination of membership must be done in writing or by e-mail, before the end of the academic year with a notice period of four weeks, to the secretary. The association year runs from August 1 to July 31, so cancellations must be made before July 4. In the event of the membership’s late cancellation, the member must pay the membership fee until the next cancellation moment.
