The morning will consist of several lectures:
Govert Schilling, – scientific journalist
Nico Hendrickx – CTO of Groove Quantum and alumnus of Applied Physics at the University of Twente.
Tijmen Euser – Professor of Experimental Physics at the University of Cambridge and also an alumnus of Applied Physics at the University of Twente.
The lunch break will be combined with a networking session, organized in collaboration with PhotonDelta. The exact setup is still being developed, but the preliminary concept is a poster session featuring PhotonDelta and its partner companies.
The afternoon will focus on interactive workshops. The program will consist of two workshop rounds, with three to four workshops running in parallel per round. Participants can indicate their preferences in advance and thus take part in two workshops.
Confirmed and planned elements include, among others:
A workshop organized by PhotonDelta (or one of its partner companies) on innovation and entrepreneurship skills in photonics.
Alumni Talks (working title): an interactive session where students engage in conversations with alumni who have pursued diverse career paths, aiming to highlight the variety of possibilities after graduation.
